The axiomatization of design field is the inevitable developing trend in engineering science.As the typical result of design theory system, axiomatic design guides designers to make correctdecisions through the axioms and design framework. The "zigzag" mapping is its advantage.The axiomatic design requires a design conform to the independence axiom. Design whichis inconformity to the independence axiom is coupling design. The coupling design can not beaccepted. The uncoupled design has the highest success rate. Therefore, decoupling can improvethe design efficiency and save the cost. A decoupling method based on the Su-Field analysis andconflict analysis is proposed by studying the research results at home and abroad.Analyze the feasibility of the application of TRIZ in decoupling according to the commonstandpoint of the axiomatic design and the TRIZ theory, the correlation between the coupling andthe harmful function and the consistency between the coupling and the conflict.According to the correlation between the coupling and the harmful function, find thecombining sites and present a decoupling strategy using the Su-Field analysis and76standardsolutions.Analyze the implementation process in detail by the application in a example.Analyze the causes of functional coupling from the properties of the physical parts.Combine the coupling and the conflict through the reasons. The decoupling strategy using theconflict analysis and the conflict resolution principles has been put forward. Detail theimplementation steps of the method by using them in a engineering instance.By combining the process which guide the product design in AD and the decouplingmethod put forward in the article, propose a decoupling model based on TRIZ.Improve the height regulating device in the erecting machine’s leg using the decouplingmethods put forward and resolve the difficult problem in aligning the holes and inserting andremoving the plugs.Verify the correctness and usefulness of the theory.
