Check valve is the important equipment in nuclear power plant, and valve body is chief component of the check valve. Regardless of the development of new products design or the improvement of elder product structure, valve body is inseparable from the development and improvement of the design. How to develop uniform strength design of the valve body and how to improve the structure of the valve to reduce timber are currently valve problems to be solved, even for the marine nuclear power plant valves. Since the intensity performance of reserve check valve is highly related to nuclear reactor safety, it is important to study and optimize the intensity technical parameters of the main check valve.In this paper, the intensity of reverse check valve body is analyzed and optimized by using ANSYS-Workbench infinite software. Firstly, according to the reverse check valve's design paper, and holding the shape and size of the inner flow filed unchanged, its three dimensions substance geometry model is built with Pro/E, and the valve body model is modified as needed for infinite analysis, neglecting the relative small structures. Besides, the geometry model is saved as IGES format to be imported into ANSYS. Secondly, infinite analysis'physical model constructing such as constraint, loading, meshing about the valve body geometry model is carried out with ANSYS infinite software, and the intensity is analyzed to gain stress distribution and deformed state of valve body. Thirdly, with the valve body's max equivalent stress and strain as the constraint condition, the mass of valve body as the objective function, and the basic size of valve body's structure as the design variable, the optimal structure size of valve body is obtained after many times variational parameters optimization analysis calculating.The calculating result shows:the stress and strain of valve body distribute more reasonably after optimization and material is fully utilized, the weight is lighten, and the cost is reduced under the condition of satisfying with the request for valve body intensity. The research may lay certain foundation for analysis with FEM and optimization design of new valves and their other components.
