The air compressor has a widely use, and supply aerodynamic for machine tool. In the recent years, many air compressor plants have different kinds of air compressors since extension of production scale and renewal of production equipment in enterprise. At present, the control and management of mixed air compressor is only manual control. If the automation monitor system of mixed air compressor can be fulfilled, it improves the automation and information manager level of equipment, and reduces labor intensity.The article takes air compressor group of screw compressor, piston compressor and their cooling water system for example, and designs automation monitor system of mixed air compressor. The system includes screw compressor, piston compressor, programmable logic controller, high voltage soft starter, low voltage frequency transformer, sensor and field bus and so on. The air supply system use screw compressor group as the main part, and the assist part of piston compressor, based on constant pressure air supply and same time of machine operation. The screw compressor group uses the two compressors dragged by one soft starter. The piston compressor group uses the three compressors dragged by frequency transformer. The cooling water system realizes automation cycle.Based on above control principle, the article finishes the design of hardware, software and monitor-control picture, and realizes total distributed control of overall system. Practically on the software, according constant pressure air supply, we use the method of modularization program to realize basically one key control start/stop and auto-run.The thesis explains all parts of the whole system, including two types air compressor work principle, control plan, control cabinet design, industry field bus, control system program, touch panel interface, etc. The text does the understanding to engineering problems which happened at lab and worksite.The monitoring system has run several months so far, and gets a satisfied result, in the matter of safety and stabilization, automation level, humanization, etc. Experimental results demonstrated that the practicability system is worth of spreading.
