In order to utilize energy sources efficiently and reasonable, many countries have developed types of clean-power technology. With the scale of the power system enlarging and the capacity increasing, supercritical power technology become the main trend of thermal power generation, but supercritical technology based on once-though technology requires a high degree of automation, and the systems are becoming more and more complicated. Therefore, power plant simulation technology plays a more and more role in insuring the units operate more securely and efficiently, improving the operators' skill and scientific research.The paper took No.6 unit of zhaoguang as research object, after analyzing of the structure and properties, the 600MW supercritical boiler system was divided into many types of modules which were completed by using FORTRAN, and then the model was established based on these modules. The model had been debugged and emendated by using the actual data from the practical boiler running database. Some basic operations such as start-up of unit, stopping the turbine and so on achieved, the perturbation tests and malfunctions showed the model is stable, and the error of the experiment results were acceptable. The real-time simulation results indicated that, the model accorded with dynamic characteristic of boiler and certificated the module practicability. The simulation model developed in this paper has already been put into operation successfully. Making uses of the model do some experiments for operating, will have practical value and realistic meaning in operation optimization, fault analysis and solving some practical problems.
