The Port Logistics' Contribution To Zhejiang's Economic Development

Zhejiang is one of the most developed regions of China,its port logistics industry has made some achievements.This paper will analyze the contribution of the development of port logistics industry in Zhejiang Province to Economic growth of Zhejiang province. On this basis,propose a solution on how to speed up the sport logistics industry so that do more contribution for the economics.So as to build a harmonious development of Zhejiang's port logistics system for reference.This paper first describes the research background, purpose and significance and research status, then about the basic concepts , characteristics and development of Port logistics and economic growth. On this basis, we will discuss the correlation between the port logistics and economic development . After that , we will think over The actual situation in Zhejiang Province, and describes the historical development of port logistics in Zhejiang. we will also make a timing analysis about the relationship between economic growth and Port Logistics by studying the data from 2000 to 2009. Using EVIEWS software and linear regression methods we can make a correlation analysis about the relationship of Port throughput and GDP , and we can even make a further explain about the contribution rate of Port logistics and economic development in Zhejiang Province. Finally, we use SWOT analysis to analyze the conditions of the development of port logistics in Zhejiang and propose the countermeasure that to increase the contribution of port Logistics Industry in Zhejiang Province.Ultimately, the paper analyzes the following conclusions:In the long historical development, the port is due to the initial formation of the appropriateness of the location that they have excellent location and other factors.The early growth of the logistics and port is the main driving force of economic development in Zhejiang Province,at the same time, the economic development of Zhejiang Province, and steady progress for the development of port logistics the stage.
