Recently, the electric power industry has been developing rapidly and the girds cover even more large area, more and more transmission lines through forest. Under the influence of global warming, some factors of climate anomalies increase the frequency of the wildfire outbreaks. Once the wildfire break out, the fire spread to near place or below the transmission line, That will cause the transmission line to trip and the majority of automatic reclosing fail to work, and then stops the transmission of electrical energy and leads to blackout accident. That brings inconvenience to the electric power company's normal operation and normal production. The outbreak of large-scale fire affecting more than one transmission line, cause serious problems for the safe and steady operation of the grid. To prevent from the accidents, the thesis systematically analyzed the wildfire prevention measures of Power Grid in the perspectives of fire weather forecasting, wildfire monitoring and prevention measures, and the wildfire emergency response plan of the transmission lines.Firstly, the method of using the extreme learning machine to predict wildfire was proposed in thesis, the extreme learning machine was training by the statistical fire data, and the Wildfire forecasting model was also verified. The result showed that the extreme learning machine has better accuracy of wildfire forecasting. And then the combined wildfire forecasting system of transmission line as disaster monitoring system for transmission lines and thermal infrared remote sensing system of satellite transmission line combination fire monitoring system was analyzed, which not only detects the small fire near the transmission lines, but also predicts and near real-time masters the tendency of fire. In accordance with the Hunan topography, climate and customs and other factors, the present writer explored the reasons why so many wildfire outbreak from February to April. During this period the temperature is high; the relative humidity is small and wind speed is high. All these factors are easily leading to the outbreak of wildfire. During the spring period, the farmers make fire in the field and people also burn incense during the Qing Ming Festival. All these factors increase the possibility of causing the fire. Another factor is the local foehn effect. All these reasons cause the wildfire outbreak frequently. At the same time, the present writer also qualitatively analyzed the reasons why the wildfire cause the transmission lines to trip and what cause the majority to trip after tripping reclosing. This thesis also analyzed the feasibility of changing operation modes to prevent the transmission line from the wildfire, such as transferring load of the transmission lines, shutting down the transmission lines and so on. The PSASP software was also used to make the simulation and analysis of WSCC nine-node power system. The result proves that this scheme is feasible. Lastly, the wildfire emergency plan and its system were analyzed, which made the prevention measures of wildfire in gird systematically.Analyzing the prevention measures of wildfire in gird provides guidelines to handle the wildfire incident effectively.
