With the development of computer simulation technology, digital simulation method has been widely applied in aerospace. Launch vehicle,kind of typical spacecrafts,has been studied on design, verification and training by simulation, which greatly promoted the development of launch vehicle.This thesis is base on Launch vehicle,which is the object of simuliation. Author analysed The attribute of complex system which the Launch vehicle is belong to at the beginning,it include the definition of complex system and the software architecture designning methods. Then, the preliminary studies related to complex system's software architecture designning methods were discussed. The characteristics of simulation and simulating methods about this kind system were profoundly analysed. Base on this analysis, a design peoposal that constitutting a distributed platform for the simulation system by designing and developing federations based on HLA is suggested.This thesis start from the basic theory of high level architecture, HLA rules, HLA interface specification , HLA object model template and RTI are researched, after that, the FEDEP is analyzed. Base on this foundation, according to the FEDEP, the system is designed and divided into overall inspection simulation federation, control system simulation federation, and propulsion system simulation federation which are composed of 11 federates, and then, the function and modules of each federate are designed in detail. According to the design scheme, the federations are developed. The federation is designed according to the HLA architecture and the federation is divided by four federate members, which are the main control member, data member, visual member and status member. All the federate members are been described by the SOM and FOM table and their interoperability and reusability are achieved in the HLA-RTI Federate platform. Numerical model is built with MATLAB/Simulink and scene model is built with 3Ds Max directly in MFC...
