Airborne electromechanical system is an indispensable part to protect the aircraft. As airborne electromechanical system is developing slowly towards intelligent and comprehensive direction now, the risk of development of airborne electromechanical system is more and more increasing. In order to reduce the development risk and improve the quality of development, the reasonable application of simula tion test technology which uses a large number of simulation experiments is a necessary means of research and development.This paper is based on simulation test project of the electromechanical subsystem in some institute of aircraft. According to the demand and analysis of the simulation actuator of electromechanical system, this paper puts forward the application of the virtual instrument technology forming electromechanical system actuator simulation, the hardware core of which is NI PXI industrial machine, and it is used to perform the solution of simulation test. Electromechanical actuator mainly completes subsystem function simulation such as hydraulic system, fuel oil, environmental control, liquid-cooling, take-off and landing, anti- icing and fire prevention, simulates interface state, logic of work and the alarm information of the electromechanical subsystem(except the power supply, the brake subsystem) and receives control instruction to verify the control function of management system to the subsystem of electromechanical systems.This paper first describes the background and significance of the Electro- mechanical subsystem simulation actuator, and analyzes the research status and development trend of the simulation test based on virtual instruments technique at home and abroad. It describes the summaries of the virtual instrument, LabVIEW and the data acquisition system. This paper determines the overall design by means of the demand analysis of the electrical and mechanical subsystem simulation test. Then hardware configuration and software design of the Electro- mechanical subsystem simulation actuator are discussed in detail, and the software part mainly includes the designs of the user interface module, data acquisition module, RS-422 communication module, the data storage and playback module. Finally this paper introduces the debug processes of the whole mechanical and electrical subsystems simulator test, and analyzes the problems in the process of actual test and solves them in time.Through project demonstration, hardware construction, software development and functional debugging, the simulation actuator of electromechanical system has been practically applied to the simulation test of electromechanical management system on some type of aircraft. Its function and technical indicators can meet the demand of practical application, and get the desired results.
