Research On Design Of Open Floor In High-rise Residential Buildings Of South China

As Chinese urbanization process has been accelerated, large-scale construction has brought a number of environmental and psychological problems to the city and the people living in the city. As an ancient technique which continues to this day, overhead is able to hot and humid southern climate, complex topography, and has significant contribution to rich form of the building, reduce environmental damage by human and create the pleasant living environment.The paper is on the basis of open floor in the high-rise residence of south China, start topics according to the instructions step by step, from the abstract to the concrete, and draw conclusions and recommendations finally. The paper starts with an understanding of concept of open floor, the history, and infers its basic types. Then by a combination method of the theory and examples, the paper first analyzes open floor′s essential attribute, the effects and underlying factors, then tries to analysis the characteristics and design techniques of the various parts in the residence, and sum up some present problems. The paper tries to seek more reasonable design principles and methods which are adapt to exist and develop in the residence.This article has six chapters and is consisted of three parts: The first part is the understanding of the subject, including chapter one and two. Firstly, proceeding from the purpose and significance of the research, its points out basic method and frame of studying in the thesis related to the theories and research at home and abroad; secondly, it defines the relevant concepts, analysis its history, and infers its basic types.The second part is the analysis of subject, including chapter three, four and five. Firstly, it analyzes essential attribute of open floor and point out the importance of open floor design. Secondly, in the subject and object aspects it analyzes the factors affecting the design of open floor, including natural, location, technology, security, the subject′requirements and so on. Finally, with the combination of several modern typical architectural instances in southern high-rise residences, it analyzes the design of open floor from four aspects, and puts forward some existing problems in the design.The third part is the conclusion of the subject, including chapter six and seven. Based on the above, it sums up the residential principles and method. And the author field survey of the present situation of the application of the open floor in the high-rise residence of Guangzhou, analyzes the open floor of one typcal representative high-rise residences, analyzes the characteristics, advantages and shortage in space constitution and scale, detail design aspects, put forward the suggestion, in order to validate and add the design principle and methord of the sixth chapter.
