Research On The Moderate Scale Of Urban Road-network In A New District In The City

That how to determine the scale of the urban road-network is critical to urban road-network planning. It is based on the demand of the traffic. The scale of the road-network should be consistent with or be moderately ahead of the economic development and social development. At different stages, there ought to be different levels of scale of road-network. If the transport supply is too much more then the demand, there would be a great waste of the money and the land resource. But, conversely, when the supply can't meet the demand, the development of the economics will slow down. Traffic congestion, low efficiency of the communication, traffic accidents everywhere will be a disaster to the stable and sustainable development of economics. Since the traffic of the urban city becomes increasingly serious, and at the same time it is more and more difficult to reconstruct the old road-network, lots of cities start to build its suburbs and satellite towns. Then it's the goal of this paper, how to determine the scale of the urban city in a new district.At first, we expounded the current situation of the urban road-network in and abroad. Then we searched out the problems that exist in the current road-network and the main factors which affect the scale of the road-network. Secondly, after the presentation of theories and methods of the city road-network plan, improvement is introduced to the Method Depend On Degree of Node's Importance. Main contact of the improvement is on how to calculate the importance of the Node. Thirdly, a model with several test indicators is used to check out if the method effective. At last, the method is applied in A city's road-network planning. Then it is found feasible after being checked out.
