Research On Design Quality Management Of Subway Station A

Subway is an environmental friendly vehicle, convenient for people to travel. Now domestic industry of subway construction develops rapidly, and building subway becomes popular in medium and large cities across the whole country. Subway is to be used for a hundred years, and its construction is of costly and huge scale. Design is the spirit of project, and the quality of design is the primary point deciding project quality of subway. It concerns the safety of people and the property of the country.As a sunrise industry, the development of subway design is swift. Many design institutes joined the industry of subway design, but the development of some design institutes cannot keep pace with subway and a lot of design problems exist. Design needs scientific methods of quality control, adopting overall quality management to control design quality effectively. This paper focuses on how to control quality in Subway Station A design by overall quality management.Firstly, this paper introduced the background of subway quality management, and then analyzed quality problem in subway design and expounded the necessity of subway quality management. First, it analyzes and studies the forming of design quality of Subway Station A. These design processes mainly include seven parts: design planning, design input, design output, design review, design verification, design validation and design change. This paper analyzes the tasks to be undertaken by Subway Station A in all the processes and existing problems, and how to amend and settle problems and how to ensure the design quality of station. Following, this paper discusses how to implement the plan of quality management in an overall way from four aspects as overall personnel management, use of PDCA circle method , full process IT management and applying of value engineering strategy to control investmen . Finally, based on the fruit of Subway Station A design, quality is evaluated and some advice summed up for amending the following subway design: strengthen the training of personnel, advocate the building of standard database and play the control role of quality management department.This paper presents how to control effectively the design quality of Subway Station A through the method of overall quality management, providing a systematic management method for controlling design quality of subway.
