As the important task of power grid enterprises, power system planning has the decisive influence on reliability,economy and security for the future power grid.Combined with the actual optimization, scientific planning of power system has been one of the hotspots research in power development. However, there are still lots of technical problems about real power grid planning to be solved urgently. Therefore, study on city power grid planning optimization still has the important theory significance and the practical significance.City power grid planning involves many aspects, as well as there are much planning optimization problems needed to be solved,too. Limited to the Author's energy and the paper's length, this paper take Ningbo city area power grid "Twelfth Five-Year" development planning research for background. According to the characteristics of the large city power grid medium-term planning, this paper focus on the analysis of current situation, power plants on the net, grid layout, planning implementation optimization technique.First of all, the writer analyzes the present situation of power grid operation. In accordance with the power supply section, writer found the hidden troubles and problems of power grid planning by analysising the backbone network.Improvement measures of perfect and implement is given. Secondly, the writer studies large power plants voltage grading optimization. Taking Beilun power plant as a case of project feasibility study, writer put forward that great power plants can be considered 220kV on the system, in order to optimize the network structure and security safe power supply. In third,the writer studies the city distribution network planning. In accordance with the medium-term planning principles of city power network planning, load forecasting, power balance, power distribution network planning, and other key issues are sorted. The optimization results take Ningbo power grid" Twelfth Five-Year Plan" for application and evaluation. In fourth, the writer studied the city power grid planning implementation strategy. Analysising the implementation problems and reasons which the city power grid planning facing with, The writer put forward the solution about power network planning conflict with the city planning.The writer gives out a government and enterprise linkage strategy about power network planning and the city planning integration.With the passage of time and depth of study, the contents which this paper discusses already have a practical application in Ningbo power grid. The research method which this paper presents on large city power grid planning has a guiding role.
