Wujin Film Arts Palace in Chang zhou City is much important investment projects of the local government.The project includes more functional facilities, such as the theater,the youth exhibition hall,the children occupation experience museum,gymnasium and so on.It is the important base of the youth education and public fitness. The structure form of the project is complex and much place of the project use the prestressed structure, so the paper research the reliability analysis of the large span prestressed concrete beam which lie the top of the theater auditorium hall in A district of the project,which have the important practical significance.This paper use the two kinds of calculation methods which are the reliability theory and the reliability analysis module of ANSYS software to calculate the reliability of the large span prestressed concrete beam of the top of the theater'auditorium hall in A district of the project.In addition, this paper also reseach that the variation coefficient of some random variables which include concrete strength,section size and load,product the influence for the reliability.this paper the following conclusion by the reseach.The first,this paper obtain that the reliability index of the large span prestressed concrete beam is 3.5765 by calculation.Becauce it exist pf=Φ(-β) between the reliability index and the probability of failure,our could obtain that the reliability of bearing capacity is 99.9854%.The second,the paper do the reliability analysis for the large span prestressed concrete beam by using the reliability theory, which make us coming to the conclusion that the reliability index will reduce when the variation coefficient of the random variable increase, the influence of the concrete strength and floor live load is bigger,while the influence of the floor dead load and section size is smaller.The third, the analysis result of the ANSYS software is bigger than the analysis result of the reliability theory,but the change trend is basic agreement.
