Basalt fiber as a new type of reinforcing material with excellent mechanical properties and naturalcompatibilities has been widely used in many types of industries. Basalt fiber reinforced concrete (BFRC)is an important application area in the engineering materials sector. At present, at home and abroad onresearch to BFRC is conducting in full swing, we are committed to the study of the performance and lookfor an opportunity to be used in many areas of civil engineering.In this paper combined with the road surface cement concrete compressive strength, flexuralstrength and other mechanical properties and resistance to freeze-thaw performance, shrinkage performancedurability and so on is studied. On this basis, combined with the SEM images of the different mixingprocesses, summarized analysis the enhanced toughening mechanism of BFRC, Proposed the BFRC-RCCcomposite pavement which is new form of pavement, and using the finite element software for simulationanalysis. The detailed contents are as follows:1. Experimental study on the mechanical properties of BFRC, with the result that to get thevariation of compressive and flexural strength in different fiber content。That is concluded: Along with theincrease in BF content,effectively improve the compressive strength of BFRC,especially the earlystrength;The flexural strength is also significantly improved。2.To receive the curve of the freeze-thaw performance and shrinkage properties about BFRC thatthe BF volume content of0.1%(2.65kg/m3),through experimental study on durability of BFRC。That isconcluded: cement concrete mixed with BF can effectively improve the performance and dryingshrinkage of freeze-thaw resistance of cement concrete,Thereby increasing the durability of the BFRC.3. The slices which from test block is that made of fibers direct mixing method and pretreatmentof fiber mixing method,under a scanning electron microscope in a comparative study,Observe thecombination of state of the fiber and the matrix。Summary obtained: Prepared fiber mixing producedspecimens that is the BFRC specimens which made of cement paste wrapped BF,be able to produce goodbonding properties between BF and cement paste,And because the BF mixing,reduce the BFRC the porosity effectively from the point of view of absorption of the base body free water and fill the holes。4. Test analysis, combined with the SEM images,multi-angle analysis of the enhancement ofBFRC toughening mechanism.5. Combined with the BFRC the excellent performance and RCC Road Performance,Point outBFRC-RCC composite pavement structure and use the finite element software for simulation analysis.After repeated spreadsheet to determine the model size, Compared to finite element solution andstandardize the analytical solution to verify the validity of the analysis, then use the model to analyze theload stress and temperature stress about BFRC-RCC composite pavement structure. Through change thethickness of the layers and elastic modulus to obtain the variation of following laminate the bottom ofstress and temperature stress。It can be seen from the results of the analysis, the BFRC-RCC compositepavement is able to meet the requirements of road usage.
