The quality of power grid project is much related to the national economy and people's livelihood in our country. With the improvement of industry, agriculture and national defense of our country, the requirement for supply of electric power is getting higher. As for electric power enterprises, to improve the management, efficiency and service of work is the only way to follow the social development.Six Sigma is a management system and also a development strategy that helps an enterprise succeed in business performance and achieving the maximum of profit. Six Sigma is also an operative mode to help an enterprise make great progress, while at the same time being a good method to judge the quality of products and service as well. Combining Six Sigma management in the business process reengineering of power grid project construction, not only makes the theory and method of business process reengineering more complete, but also consolidate the success of operation in the reengineering and help improve the management of an enterprise. To integrate information resource and upgrade the information technology with the above results, guarantees the intensive management of power grid project construction, and also help reach the goal of the construction efficiently for an electric power enterprise.This article first explains the background and purpose of the research, and then studies the business process reengineering and the Six Sigma management as well as the feasibility of the combination of them and how to carry them out. With the idea of using Six Sigma in the business process reengineering, it looks deeply into the formulation and operation process of the power grid project for A power grid corporation, it offers new technological process, and analyzes its advantage comparatively. In the end of the article, it explains the importance of information resource integration and offers a model of it at the base of recombination for business process. The research of the recombination of business process in power grid project construction in this article makes the business process more advanced, standard and useful, which is practical for power grid project construction in power grid corporations. The data model of power grid project offered at the base of business process recombination provides a practical guidance for informationization of power grid project, which can also be used in the study of software system focused on the business process reengineering of power grid project construction using Six Sigma management.
