Human beings have a long history of using wind energy, the development of modern wind power industry began in the early 1980s, California, USA, now in full development worldwide. Wind power is environmentally friendly, with more than 30 years of good performance record. Global warming, energy crisis, and nuclear leakage crisis are affecting both developed and developing countries, this calls for the rapid development of wind power industry.China's coastal areas are rich in wind resources, they are also load centers. Jiaojiang Dachen Island is located in a wind energy rich region, the island's wind resources can be expected to be more than one million kilowatts; According to the actual geographical distribution of the island, the plan is to install in the upper and lower Dachen Island approximately 55MVA, of which PhaseⅠhas been completed, about 25.5 MVA installed capacity is already in operation.Large-scale wind farms are located in a remote area, affecting the local environmental and ecological impact, they also affect the grid system in the following ways:1) the randomness of wind resources to the development of power generation dispatching and planning; 2) the trend of the power distribution network losses, power angle, frequency and voltage stability; 3) wind power may bring to the distribution network harmonic pollution and voltage fluctuations and flicker and other effects. Above requires us not only to study the impact of wind farms on the environment and ecological impact, but also should consider wind power technical impact,in the departments of planning and operational management.In this paper, the Xingxing Dachen Island wind farm's actual situation are studied. The wind turbines manufactured by Zhejiang Windey Engineering Co., Ltd. of WD49-750千瓦model units are investigated under the premise of the following three main aspects:First, the system flow distribution effects; Second, the reactive power optimization and voltage stability of the impact; Third, the credibility and the development of power generation capacity planned impact.Dachen island with a large wind power projects operating practice, research on the above analysis and calculation methods is used to compare the conclusions, and analysis methods and computational models are used to optimize the interconnection solution; the study results can useful for ensuring the normal operation of network while also improving power generation companies to develop wind farm planning and scheduling management level, for the next larger scale offshore wind farm construction to provide theoretical and empirical basis.
