The Research Of RFID-based Substation Equipment Inspection System

In power system, the patrolling of electrical equipments, especially substation equipments plays a very important role in daily substation operation. Still, there exists problems in the process of equipment-patrolling, such as operators not following the patrol route a time. Thus, the management system is studied and designed with the RFID technique to solve this problem. And corresponding software is developed based on opened hardware.Firstly, this paper introduces the substation equipment patrolling systematically, presents the patrolling style and the management system, then points out problems existing in it. Secondly, the concern content in the substation equipment patrolling is classified, and the software in PDA and computer is developed for the electro-patrolling management system. Thirdly, on the foundation of B/S network construction and SQL SERVER2000SQL CE database technique, the database is developed and patrolling management system is set up taking advantage of the stable products.This system has already been in practical use in Yuyao Power Supply Bureau, and acquired good effect in strengthening the assessment and improving the quality of patrolling...
