The Design Of Management System For Electro-Patrolling The Substation Equipment Based On RFID

In power system, the patrolling of the electric power equipments, especially the tour of the substation equipments, plays an important role in the operation work of substation. Now, there are some problems in the processes of equipments patrolling, such as operators not following the patrol route and time. The management system is researched and designed with the RFID technique, and its software is developed based on opened hardware.Firstly, this paper introduces the equipment patrolling of substation systematically, presents the patrolling style and the patrolling management system, and points out the problems existing in it. Secondly, the concrete content in the substation equipment patrolling is classified, and the software in PDA and computer is developed for the electro-patrolling management system. Thirdly, on the foundation of B/S network construction and SQL SERVER2000,SQL CE database technique, the database is developed and patrolling management system is set up taking advantage of the stable products. Finally, the system is tested and applied to fieldwork in a substation, and the test result indicates that: management system for electro-patrolling the substation equipment based on RFID has the characters of high reliability, simple usage, easy maintains and etc, and has a bright application value in the future.
