In the economic globalization environment, our country construction and project management must with international convention. Therefore, it is necessary to establish and perfect our country construction and project management mode and method, in order to adapt to the market economy mechanism. Project management planning is the key project management, planning the content of project management throughout the entire process, for the smooth implementation of project management plays a decisive role. At present domestic construction enterprises to the project management planning enough attention, but also because of it's involving the scope and depth of the wider, therefore, in theory and engineering practice hard to a shape. Therefore, in view of the construction process how to formulate a practical and effective project management planning is engineering construction urgent problem to be solved.This paper firstly introduces the current domestic and foreign project management of related theory and methodology of recent years used in project management knowledge system (PMBOK) is introduced, for application in engineering construction project management knowledge system of project management planning content and planning method are discussed in detail. Combined with the characteristics of engineering construction projects, and briefly introduces some group company built project profiles, through the real case analysis, the project management every link of the organizational analysis, with the focus on the project organization management, progress management, cost management, safety and quality management, materials management, machinery management, technology management are analyzed in detail. In addition, through to the project risk identification, assessment and analysis, combined with the engineering situation for risk management. Finally, in project implementation process, through improving the construction project management details, continuously strengthening project safety quality management, project cost management as the core, project management through coordination project management factors, and constantly improve and sublimation project management level, reduce project cost, create benefits, achieve project anticipated target.
