As a control device to absorb shock and vibration, damper has been widely used along with development of design and manufacturing technology. Dampers play a vital role in system security and they are extensively used, it is necessary to ensure the qualified performance and manufacturing quality of dampers. Therefore, research on vibration test bench for testing dampers has important significance in many aspects, such as testing the performance of dampers, and ensure the product quality. On the basis of full investigation and analysis of development status and performance characteristics of the vibration test benches, the method of using hydraulic vibration test bench for testing damper was put forward. Aiming at the deficiencies of current hydraulic vibration test benches, a kind of 100t hydraulic vibration test bench which should possess reliable features of high precision, large load exertion capability and wide responding frequency band was proposed, and the specific design and implementation was completed.The system principle of hydraulic vibration test bench was expounded, and according to the technical specifications of test bench, the key hydraulic system components and bench framework were designed, and the technical difficulties of designing were analyzed.Combined with the unique advantages of virtual instrument, used virtual instrument software LabVIEW as the development platform for system software, analyzed the functional requirements of system software, proposed a modular approach to design the overall software. The software design techniques of OPC communication technology, database storage and management, datalog file operations and signal filtering methods were represented. And detailed the specific implement-ation of each software module.According to the theory of closed-loop control system and PID control strategy, described the principle of the servo control system of test bench, selected and designed servo controller. Analyzed the effect of PID control parameters to system performance, adjusted and determined the servo controller parameters during debugging process, completed the design of servo control system.Based on the research above, the 100t hydraulic vibration test bench of dampers was developed, it was installed and has been run in Jiangsu Power Equipment Co., Ltd. The field test results proved that the test bench is running well, load control is precise, test data is accurate and reliable, can completely meet the damper performance testing needs of enterprises.
