Heavy vehicle was widely used along with the rapid development of China's economy, so it performance requirements were higher. The matching condition of power transmission system had great effect on vehicle performance, especially the dynamic and fuel economy performance.This paper made the dynamic and economy performance as the goal, research work has carried out around the matching optimization of transmission parameters, application of optimization theory to find optimum transmission parameter.The current research status of power transmission matching was summarized. According to analysis the existing dynamic and economy performance index, the comprehensive evaluation index for the dynamic and fuel economy performance was putted.A heavy vehicle structure model based on AVL-Cruise software was established, meanwhile, it dynamic and economy performance was simulated and analyzed. The effect of gross mass, final ratio, transmission efficiency and coefficient of air resistance to the vehicle performance were evaluated and analyzed, finally, the sensitivity analysis of the parameters were calculated.The time of in-situ start accelerating was as dynamic target function. The C-WTVC circulation oil consumption was as economy target function. Then, the two objectives functions were putted into a comprehensive objective function using the weighted method. So, the transmission parameters optimization model was established.Using Isight as optimization software platform and making Cruise integrate to Isight software. The combinatorial optimization strategy was raised based on design of experiment and genetic algorithm. Then, the transmission parameters were optimized.Through the examples showed that the transmission system optimization model was accuracy and the optimization technology strategy was reasonable.
