| Smart electricity meter is the end part in the utility automation system, which sending the real time power consumption and power monitoring indormation to data service centre remotely via data network. It is a key part in the smart grid. With the construction of smart grid, the requirement for smart meter and its function is higher and higher. The smart electricity meter adds grid event monitoring and recording, as well as power quality monitoring to Energy Metering that acts as data node.Meanwhile, it also contains reliability and timeliness in data transmission.According to the analysis and summarize for the technical requirements of smart meter on international market,the technical requirements of smart meter based on IEC62056is summarized in this paper.This kind of meter is suitable for the developed country. Meanwhile, this paper illuminates technical requirement and platform design of the smart meter in detail, focusing on platform independent design, core design, file system design, protocol stack design, as well as the function design for the smart meter.The core design includes task management and scheduling, clock management and message system, which implement the basic functions of a multi-tasking OS. To make sure the high reliability of a meter, this paper uses EDF scheduling in with which32tasks can be dealed at same time.The file system integrates and improves the advantages of several file systems for the applications of meter to implement some functions, such as FLASH memory physical address mapping and wear leveling. The maximum single file can be up to384K, and64files can be created and stored. This is a new small application file system, which is good for data access in power meter. |
