With the development of power industry, electromagnetic environment and electromagnetic compatibility of power systems are more and more attentioned. This paper proposes a three dimensional eddy current coupling menthod which based on sources integral of artificial boundaries menthod and edge finite element menthod for power frequency high-current magnetic shieling problems. According to electromagnetic field theory, with a metal plate as shielding material, there will be eddy current in the plate and magnetic surface current on the surface. Around the shielding plate,using the artificial boundaries drawn the solving region, and using the current-carrying coil as source model outside the solving region, obtained the contribution of soruce integral to the magnetic vector on artifical boumdaries. The contribution of secondary source of eddy current and magnetization current of shielding plate to the magnetic vector on artifical boumdaries is gradually applied by iteration until iterative convergence.This paper focus on deriving the discrete formula of eddy current magnetizzation and magnetic surface current in the shielding plate of edge finite element model, exert the effects of second source on the artificial boundary by volume and area integral. We also discussed the convergence properties of coupling iterative menthods, give the discrete formula of magnetic field strength which using the field sources of convergence of iterations. Compared coupling menthod with two dimensional axisymmetric finite element menthod in an axisymmetric model to verify the correctness of the coupling menthod. Using the coupling iterative menthod for shielding of high-current bus to calculate the shielding effect of iron.Through the application of engineering examples to show the advantages of save computer resources of coupling menthod.At the case of eddy current and magnetization current in the same time, the calculation of source and it's contribution to the artificial boundaries need to be further studied.
