Energy crisis and environment pollution issues have become more serious, and wind energy, as an inexhaustible clean energy, has attracted the word's great attention. Wind power capacity increases rapidly, doubled every three years. Wind power generation technology has the study hotspot of the world's researchers. Climatic conditions and other factors have a great influence on the wind power generation research in the wind farm field, so there are lots of difficult problems. Wind turbine simulation platform can well resolve the problem, and it has a great meaning.The paper firstly studies the wind model, and builds a modular wind model, which consist of constant wind, gust wind gradient wind and stochastic wind. Secondly, it analyzes the mathematical model of the wind turbine and the performance of the wind turbine. Then it deduces the mathematical model for induction motor in two-phase rotational reference frame and discusses the vector control algorithm and analyzes the dynamic characteristics of the induction motor. Finally, it verifies the feasibility of the scheme, which uses an induction motor to imitate the wind turbine.Based on the above analysis, this paper builds a platform which uses an induction motor as the prime mover to imitate the wind turbine. The basic idea is to use the electromagnetic torque of the induction motor to simulate the torque characteristic of the wind turbine. The control method is rotor flux oriented vector control. It builds a simulation model in Matlab/Simulink, and verifies the model's correctness through some experiments. The model achieves maximum wind energy capture. I built a physical experiment platform based on TMS320F2812chip, and did some preliminary experiments on the platform. These experiments lay the first stone for wind power generation technology research.
