| qDairy Herd Improvement (DHI) is the base of the cow improvement, which contributes to improve cow herd quality and management, turn extensive breeding farm to fine breeding, informationize the field production management data. Foreign DHI since 1907, when it introduced for the first time, has gradually evolved into comprehensive stockbreeder management plan, aiming to provide comprehensive management information. Internal DHI launched later than external, however, has made significant effectiveness in nearly 10 years. DHI center was established in March 2004 in Daqing, being responsible for DHI of Daqing area. With the development of electronic information technology and microelectronics technology, dairy cattle breeding electronic equipment have come into being and the developed countries of the cow industry mostly practiced palmtop computer to foster the national excellent dairy herds by type linear classification of dairy cattle and planned mating.This study based on the DHI data of Daqing, analyses the data, searches out the common problems and puts forward some suggestions, sets up a set of for the standard dairy production system, according with the region, based on international DHI, in order to make DHI analysis reports more pertinence, accurate and reliable, and supply a better service for national dairy. In this study, PDA technology was applied in cows thoroughbred registration and breed selection and individual planned mating, by which the function of basic data collection and input, body appearance score, individual matching, prediction of genetic progress were realized, provided fast and accurate individual material for ranch managers.This study mainly include the following content: DHI data from 2006 to 2009 in Daqing was analyzed, which was about herd management, feeding levels, breast health, and reproductive performance, and the target value was obtained with the international TOP25 method, and standard lactation curve was obtained with SAS regression model. Based on DHI data and cow thoroughbred registration and individual selection matching principle, a class library(.net Compact Framework 2.0), running on small memory mobile equipment (such as PDA), was established with Visual Studio 2008, using Visual c # language, by which the cows improvement assistant PDA systems (DHIS) was completed.Results were acquired through the above research as follows:1. The problems in this region, such as cows feeding and management in nonlactating and perinatal; ranches only concerned with the expense of short-term interest; herd structure is irrational; reproductive performance of dairy cows and breast health problems.2. The target value and lactation curve of different lactation in Daqing was obtained, and DHI standards in Daqing was established combining with international DHI. The differences between the standard and international standards was compared, in order to improve the accuracy of DHI reports.3. Embedded system was developed, and applied in PDA, in order to realize the Collecting and input of genetic information; type linear classification of dairy cattle of dairy cattle according to the Canadian 9 points standard in dairy farm; function of individual planned mating; enquiry of cow information in dairy farm. DHIS make more systematic and intellectualized data processing, more practical and more close to the scene, by which inbreeding was prevented effectively, the cow improvement effect was expanded, digitization of cows breeding work was promoted gradually, the economic benefit was increased, and cattle improvement was strengthened. |
