The so-called special rice refers to have specific traits and rice with special use value varietal type. Red rice is one of the special resources, which is planted with a long history in China, due to red rice in common with the special rice, which has a special nutrition, health care and processing of value, so Wide attention at home and abroad. In this paper, firstly,15 parents of three-line indica hybrid rice, including 7 cytoplasm male sterile(CMS) (B7 for red maintainer line) and 8 restoring lines(R7,R8 for red restorer line), were chosen to analyze the combining ability and hererosis of 10 agronomic characters,10 quality traits by the way of NCâ…¡mating design, and emphasis on the combining ability and hererosis of total anthocyanins content, selenium content and zinc content, and the correlation between them. The main results are summarized as follows:1,The analysis of heterosis and the combining ability for 9 agrionomic traits showed that Hybrid special rice had wildly stronger over-parent and contrast heterosis, and number of filled grains perpanicle, yield in plant had stongerest over-parent, on the contrary, seed setting rate ane 1000-grain weight had weakest over-parent, and are negative; on contrast heterosis, plant heigh, number of panicles per plant and panicle length were strongerest, while number of filled grain perpanicle, seed setting rate, grain weight per plant and grain density were weak. Both the general combining ability(GCA) and the specific combining ability(SCA) were significant or highly significant in most of traits, plant height, seed setting rate and 1000-grain weight and so on were mainly controlled by the additive effect. Except panicle length and 1000-grain weight, all other traits were greatly influenced by the CMS lines than the restorer lines.The narrow sense heritability of the traits were ranged as below: TGW>GD>SSR>PH>FGP>NGP>PP>PL>YP.2,The analysis of heterosis and the combining ability for 10 quality traits showed that Hybrid special rice had wildly stronger over-parent and contrast heterosis. Except for milled rice rate and chalkiness, other quality traits expressed as negative over-parent heterosis, and protein content was the weakest; on contrast heterosis, brown rice rate and translucency were stronger, and expressed as positive, all other traits were negative, chalkiness and amylase content were stronger contrast heterosis. On quality traits, both the general combining ability(GCA) and the specific combining ability(SCA) were significant or highly significant in most of traits, head rice rate, chalky rice rate, milled rice length, ratio of length width of milled rice and amylase content and so on were mainly controlled by the additive effect, and milled rate, alkali spreading value and so on were mainly controlled by the non-additive effect. The narrow sense heritability of the traits were ranged as below:AC>LWR>CR>HR> MLR>CH>PC>BR>MR>ASV.3,The analysis for functional traits showed that Selenium content and zinc content expressed as positive on over-parent heterosis, and Selenium content was the stronger, but total anthocyanin content was the weaker and expressed as negative. On the analysis of the combining ability, both the general combining ability(GCA) and the specific combining ability(SCA) were significant or highly significant in three functional traits, total anthocyanin content and selenium content were mainly controlled by the general combining ability(GCA), and zinc content were mainly controlled the specific combining ability(SCA). All traits were greatly influenced by the CMS lines than the restorer lines. On the analysis of heritability, both total anthocyanin content and selenium content were high on the board heritability and narrow sense heritability value, but zinc content had high board heritability values and low narrow sense heritability values.
