As a basic process in agricultural production, seeding is an important guarantee of the bumper harvest. With the development of seeding technology, the precision seeder has been widely used in modern agricultural seeding. At present, most of the domestic precision seeders are mechanical, and the seeding process is completely closed, so there are miss-seeding and multiple-seeding problems more or less in the seeding process, resulting in the reduction of the crop's output. The design and research of monitoring system of precision seeder will raise the quality of the seeding highly, and it has great significance for the achievement of modern intelligent agriculture.Based on the research and analysis of similar system, this paper designed a monitoring system which can be installed on the precision seeder. And it has the ability of miss-seeding compensation. Applying advanced optical and electrical detecting technology, this system chooses AT89S52 SCM as its intelligent control center. It can monitor and display the real-time seeding parameters and problems when precision seeder works. Once miss-seeding happens, monitoring system can send out sound and light alarm signals. Meanwhile, the miss-seeding compensation system will work for reseeding.Firstly, this paper designed the overall program for monitoring system of precision seeder, and then it designed the software and hardware specifically. This paper finished the following work:1. The overall program of monitoring system of precision seeder is designed, including hardware overall program and software overall program. The types of seeding parameter and problem are determined according the requirement. Meanwhile the therapy of monitoring system is researched.2. The hardware including sensor module, SCM control module, sound and light alarm module and display module is designed. The selection of electronic component and the design of circuit are finished during the designing process.3. The miss-seeding compensation system of precision seeder is designed. The design and research of the drive form and the transmission type is finished based on the miss-seeding compensation therapy 4. Monitoring system's modular software is designed with assembly language. The software of system includes main program, information collection subprogram, sound and light alarm subprogram, display subprogram and miss-seeding compensation subprogram.At last, this paper completed the anti-interference design of the miss-seeding compensation system. With the anti-interference measures, the monitoring system's reliability and stability are improved highly.
