Design And Implementation Of Information Sharing Platform For China's New Varieties Of Forestry Plants

China has a vast geographical and climatic diversity,and possesses a wealth of plant resources。With the rapid development of science and technology, especially the wide application of biotechnology, China has achieved great progress in the cultivation of new varieties of plants. New varieties of plants in china accounted for an growing proportion of forestry science and technology achievements. Strengthen the innovation, protection and application of new plant varieties, has become a young field that promotes technological progress and industrial development and booms social and economic prosperity.Nowadays, the establishment of information network is being accelerated internationally, which is about the protection of new varieties of plants. Use the website of Agriculture, Forestry or the department of intellectual property rights to establish and operate the internet, providing the full text declaration of protection of new varieties of plants, and the query system to the public, which greatly promoted the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements in forestry and industrialization process. Thus, increase the propaganda of new varieties of plants protection and improve public awareness of IPR protection of forestry, by building related media such as computer networks, propaganda system and so on. It is necessary to build a new plant species information sharing platform.The results of this paper are as follows:(1)Build a "New plant species databases of China", including applications for new plant species 723, license 320 from 1999-2010; Build a "new plant species of legal databases, "including 113 legal documents of 63 countries; Build a "new plant species of states web site database", including the 67 countries of the site navigation.(2) The information system of China's new plant species information has been developed, which had the functions of Real-time browsing, query and administration. In the administration section, administrator can add, modify, delete or audit data according to different administrative privileges. The system has been running smoothly after test and achieved a network share.(3) The database could be converted into TBF database format and published in "China's Forestry Information Network" and "China's Forestry Intellectual Property Net". The users can view plant information by clicking the taxonomic tree of plants on the Internet. Furthermore, the plant details such as plant morphology and pictures can be accessed through hyperlink.
