Both prolificacy and ovulation rate in sheep have a significant positive correlation, while the high and low ovulation rate has regulated by the reproductive hormones in vivo. The study was aim to discuss the relations between the reproductive hormones and different genotypes of BMPR-IB in CeLe Black Sheep. The study was aim to discuss the relations between two reproductive hormones (estradiol, progesterone) and different genotypes of BMPR-IB and ESR in CeLe Black Sheep.Estradiol in serum from 47 multiparous ewes in diestrus and progesterone in serum from 64 pregnant ewes were tested with enzyme linked immunosorbent assay. Genotypes of BMPR-IB and ESR in these ewes were detected by PCR-RFLP technology. The correlations between the level of estradiol and progesterone and different genotypes of BMPR-IB and ESR were analyzed. The results showed that there were no significance in the level of estradiol and progesterone among three different genotypes of BMPR-IB and ESR in CeLe Black Sheep, respectively (P>0.05). The results indicate that the level of estradiol and progesterone are not affected by mutation of BMPR-IB and ESR.The study was aim to discuss the relations between three reproductive hormones (FSH, LH and E2) and different genotypes of BMPR-IB on estrus ewes. The reproductive hormone (FSH, LH and E2) in serum from 13 ewes at different points of oestrus were tested with enzyme linked immunosorbent assay, too. The results showed:The level of FSH was significantly difference with genotype of ++ and BB in BMPR-IB (P<0.05) at 0h,3h,6h,9h,12h,15h and 18h,but three genotypes were no significantly difference at 21h and 24h (P> 0.05); the level of LH and E2 was significantly difference with three genotypes (P<0.05).The mean serum concentrations of FSH, LH and E2 were significantly higher in ++ ewes than in BB ewes with those B+ animals being consistently in between. The results suggest that the level of FSH, LH and E2 are affected significantly by mutation of BMPR-IB on estrus, but the effect decrease rapidly after the estrus. The study was aim to discuss the relations between the mRNA expression of INH gene and different genotypes of BMPR-IB on the ovary of estrus ewes. The mRNA expression of the INH gene where in different genotypes of 15 BMPR-IB gene ewes. The results showed:The level of INH-a transcripts was no significantly correlated with three different genotypes of BMPR-IB (P>0.05); but the level of INH-βtranscripts was significantly correlated with genotype of ++ and BB in BMPR-IB (P<0.05), the level of INH-a transcripts in genotype ++ was significantly higher than genotype BB.The results suggest tha the INH-βplay a major regulatory role after heating 24h different genotypes of BMPR-IB ewes.
