Comprehensive performance test system of spray nozzle was developed according to the various influence factors of spray quality. The development of this test-bed refer to the relevant standards at home and abroad. The advantages and disadvantages of spray test-bed were evaluated and a comprehensive performance test-bed for spray nozzles was designed. The design of test-bed mainly focused on performance testing of spray nozzle comprehensive and achieved the goal of high precise and efficiency.Based on the function of spray nozzle comprehensive performance test-bed, the design of test-bed mainly includes nonmartensites, hydraulic system, monitor system. The nonmartensites be made up of collecting device, nozzle position adjusting device,drainage device, the stents of PIV and laser granulometer and the stents of pump et. The hydraulic system of Spray nozzle include regulator, sensors,filters etc, mainly complete fluid transport and pressure or flow conveying regulatory.According to the analysis of the control requirement, we used Siemens PLC+MCGS technology to monitor the output of the pressure and flow via constant-current control function. The state of QSVY electric control valve was changed through the closed-loop PI control. The configuration software monitored the running status of equipment in the forms of animation and curve. After the adjustment, the system feedback curve was quickly turned into stable state.In the system, not only some general spray parameters can be measured, but also drop size and droplets flow field can be measured. It can intuitively show the speed of convective and particle size distribution, and the speed and size at different position can be reflected clearly in picture.Finally, we used the test-bed to test the measurement accuracy. We referred to the standard spray nozzle of the US spray system coMPany and test pressure measurement accuracy, the flow measurement accuracy and distribution measurement accuracy. The test results showd that the maximum measuring error of test-bed was less than 5%. It can be concluded that this test-bed satisfy the precision of spray nozzle performance test.
