In this research,502 female and 50 males of quality medium-sized meat of duck were selected as the experimental material and ducks were caged and fed ad libitum. We measured the semen quality that collected with method of combination of massage and female duck stimulation, then inseminated the female with tubal valgus-insemination method. To ascertain the best parameters, we test some paremeters, that have effects on fertility rate, including depth, quality, time and interval of semen deposition, ingredient of deluted semen, ration of deluting and so on. The main results were as follows:1. For the collection of semens, the method of combination of massage and female duck stimulation is better than female stimulation only.2. For quality medium-sized meat of drakes, the average ejaculate volume of 20 trained male duck is 0.79ml, the density is 1.67×109/ml, the quantity of valid sperm is 1.51×109/ml, the average pH is 6.63±0.06, and the vatality is 0.89±0.01.3.The quality of semen will not be influenced when the interval of semen collection is 1,2,4,6,8 day respectively, while at the interval of 10 day, the semen quality is downgraded significantly and cann't be used for insemination.4.The 4cm depth of semen deposition is better than 2cm with the same volume (0.05l,0.1ml), and the difference of fertilization rate is significant (P< 0.05). But the difference is not significant(P>0.05)when semen deposition volume is 0.03,0.05, 0.1,0.2ml with the same depth. Taking consideration of all above factors,0.05ml amount of semen,4cm depth of semen deposition will be best.5.The fertilization rate is higher when deposated at 14:00-17:30pm than 8:00-11:30am in the same semen deposition and the diffrence is significant (P<0.05). The difference is not significant (P>0.05) at diffirent interval of insemenation (2s 4^ 6d).The fertilization rate is the highest at 92.29%when inrterval of insemenation is 6d, deposating at 14:00-17:30am with valid sperm 7.92x10'in 0.05ml semen.6.Semen being diluted with different dilution (physiological saline,dilution A, dilution B) at different ratio (1:1,1:2,1:3) were compared with the original semen. The results show that dilution of the original semen and the fertilization rate in each group were not significant (P> 0.05).The fertilization rate is highest at 95.54% when using dilution B of ratio 1:1.
