The pelletizing process technology is a new seed treatment technology and has become ahot topic of modern agricultural seed treatment. It is developed to meet the mechanizedprecision sowing with fertilizer, with drug need. Seed pelletizing processing can improve seedshape, strength and other physical and mechanical properties, and it can create the conditionsfor the mechanized precision planting of small seed and irregular seed. Seed pelletizingprocessing also has important practical significance to achieve plant protection and fertilizerbefore sowing seeds, promote crop growth, save cost and increase efficiency, protectenvironment and ensure food safety.Firstly, this thesis introduced the seed pelletizing concept, purpose, pelletizing processprinciple and machining technology process and so on, and then this thesis chose anddesigned the key parts such as rotary equipment, providing powder device, providing liquidequipment and control system. According to the seed pelletizing processing process need, thethesis realized original design of providing powder device and providing liquid equipment,and accomplished the general scheme design of seed pelletizing equipment.According to the pelletizing experiment study of the different material seed, the thesisscientifically optimized the pelletizing processing technology of the different shape's seed andit provided a strong support for research and development of the seed pelletizing equipment.The thesis assembled the key parts of the seed pelletizing equipment and completed to set upthe PLC automatic control system. Through multiple trial-produce–test–improving–trial-produce, the thesis successfully developed in line with the seed pelletizing equipment ofthe design requirements. It adopted PLC automatic control system and the system had2typesof manual and automatic control mode and it achieved synchronous and precise supply ofpowder and liquid, parameters online real-time changes and other functions, improvedequipment parameters adjustment precision and range and made the pelletized seed moreuniform, smooth, processing and better quality. The control system made touch screen as theman-machine conversation window, conveniently adjusted and read data input, realizedhumanized operation and fault alarm function of the operation process. The control systemcould display the fault position, timely made diagnosis and treatment according to the faultlevel, and achieved automation, intelligent monitoring of the pelletizing equipment.The thesis used the green vegetables to test the performance of the seed pelletizingequipment. The results showed that the equipment batch production capacity were higher thanthe average of157kg/time, single seed quartile rate were higher than94%and the probabilityof seeds quartile rate were higher than97%, far higher than domestic rotary autoclave's performance parameters of the seed pelletizing equipment. The single pile seeds pressure wasgreatly improved and the averages were higher than the240g. The single pile seeds pressurewas far more than the national industry standard index150g and preferably met the designrequirements.
