Based on the geographical environment and the potato harvest mechanization level after investigation in Gansu Province, The article obtained that the plant area of potato are mostly in small area, more sloping and less in flat ground, the level of mechanization harvest was very low,At presant ,the potato harvest was primarily based on the manual work,mechanization of harvest area was only about 50 acres, which only takes up 5% of potato acreage in Gansu Province, Although the Gansu province has been trying to speed up the farming process to the level terrace, but there are still existing a lot of problems for small plots of potatoes and hillside excavator operations , which severely restricted the development of the potato industry in Gansu Province.Therefore, in considering the special geographical environment,potato cropping patterns,and the existing shortcomings of small potato excavator of Gansu Province,and the advantage of mini potato digger from abroad on the basis of merit, Developed a small potato digger matching a small tractor excavators, According to the theoretical analysis, the machine suitable for dry farming areas of ridge harvest potato mode in Gansu Province. This paper mainly made more in-depth in the following aspects:(1)According to the potato digger's indicators of harvesting operations to determine the structure of the digger machine program;(2) By analysis the type,function and performance of existing digging shovel, designed a new format of the tail grade digger shovel, this digger shovel's buried angle was adjustable, the adjust range is 15~25°;(3)After considering the existing types of separation devices, features, advantages and disadvantages ,and based on this element , designed a separation device which the rear rack mounted directly to the digger shovel; its key parameters was determined through the theoretical analysis and calculation : Separation unit width is 450mm, the number of isolated teeth is 10; the gap between the rack is 40mm; separating tooth length is 240mm; the largest angle which rack with the surface mining shovel is 30 o;arithmetic from the outside in turn , the decreasing tolerance is 10°;(4)Combined with the speed of tractor PTO and the excavator's design requirements, determined the power transmission scheme, and carried the theoretical calculation and design to its key components in detail; Based on the frequency and amplitude requirements in a small potato digger's digging shovel,the small potato digger's vibration of the eccentricity of eccentric is taken to 6mm;(5) A theoretical analysis was made about the potato injuries that was excavator management, potatoes collision damage mechanism; enfluence on the digging shovel amplitude and frequency to rate of potato injuries;(6) Use the PRO / E software to build a three-dimensional solid model of prototype, and the performance simulation analysis was carried out at the same time. Obtained that the velocity range of potato digger shovel in X-axis direction (unit level operating direction) the sub was -1100mm/s~1200mm/s, the acceleration was﹣100000mm/s~2~125000mm/s~2.the displacement was 1~23mm,the results showed that the amplitude was 22mm in X-axis, the velocity,acceleration and displacement points range of potato digger shovel in Y-axis direction (the horizontal plane Units operating in the vertical direction) were 0; Z axis direction(perpendicular to the direction of unit level operations)points rate ranges from:-105mm/s~120mm/s, the acceleration was 11000mm/s~2~10000mm/s~2 ,displacement was -564.92~-562.2mm,therefore, the amplitude of Z-axis is 2.2mm;(7) Using ANSYS software,made the static performance analysis of the mining shovel;...
