Medical Astragalus mongolicus is required more and more, but the wild resources is exhausted. In this study, on the basis of studying its seed filling characteristic, the'3414'combination fertilizing law were studied in order to reveal the seed filling charateristic and the role of ferlizing.The results show as follows:1.'3414'fertilizing experiments showed that the root length was the longest in N2P2K2 and N2P3K2 treatments with 52.50-51.70 cm, in which fertilized P and K were 60 kg/hm2, 90 -135 kg/hm2 and 60 kg/hm2 respectively, while the P and K To deal with the root length 30,90,60 kg/hm2. The difference maximum and minimum A. membranaceus medicine in root length reached 13.65 cm. The N1P2K1 treatment N, P,K ratio of root 30, 90, 30 kg/hm2 the thickest rough, in the fertilization, the fertilization compared with the control N0P0K0 have increased the number of lateral roots,form the best indicators of fertilizer for the N2P2K2,its root length,head to the length of the branch is the best in all treatments, and root rot lesion number is the lowest yield, followed by the N2P3K2. Different fertilizer treatments on yield ratio of high and do not necessarily have the role of glucosinolate content on a consistent and comprehensive analysis, we obtained the use of astragalus plant is 30-60 kg/hm2 nitrogen phosphate potassium fertilizer was 30 kg/hm2 to 90 kg/hm2 , when the production of a glycoside synthesis Astragalus Supreme, the best benefit. But considering the astragalus diseases, N2P2K1 is better than other fertilization.2. During seed filling the 100-grain fresh weight incresed and got at the highest value on the 31th day following blossom, and then rapidly decreased to the level near its dry weight which fitted to Logistic equation with a rapid increase during 19-33 d after blossom and finished at the end of 50 d. The grain filling rate showed'fast-slow-fast-slow'pattern. The grains dehydrated faster and faster with filling duration prolong and the water content decreased to the end. The fastest decreased time in water content means the finish time of the grain maximum filling.3. The stability of dry weight and water content in seeds are the important indicaters for seed maturation. The best harvest time should be during 50 d following blossom (at the end of July or beginning of August) during and the seed pods are not dissilient with no absciss-layer in their handle. It should be timely harvested in installments.
