Short-rotation industrial forest have short rotation, short payback period and high return features, changed the traditional forestry's situation with long cycle and slow effect, improve the status of forestry in the national economy. Informatization of the short-rotation industrial forest is very important for optimizing forest resource configuration, improving the management level, promoting forest products circulation, ascending labor quality and achieving business objectives.Informatization of the short-rotation industrial forest mainly focused on forest resources management system development and application based on 3S technology in our country. The research content and purpose is unitary, lack of research with methodology and software engineering theory of Informatization of the short-rotation industrial forest. This paper summarized the current problems existing in the informatization construction, explored the development trend of the informatization based on the research of forestry Informatization reviews, and researched the main parts of the informatization of the short-rotation industrial forest with the methodology and the theory of software engineering based on BS mode of Internet platform, and the forestry informatization system for Shen Guoshang was taken as example:(1) The scientific analysis of requirement. researched the classification and characteristics of the requirement. Taken practice of requirement analysis with the forestry informatization system for Shen Guoshang as example.(2) The standardization of resources data collection and order. Explored short-rotation industrial forest resources data classification and current collection and order problems, Researched standardization methods of short-rotation industrial forest resources data collection and order.(3) Forestry business process arrangement.Introducing workflow technology, completed production business logic modeling, achieved forestry business logic process arrangement.(4) System development Based on the BS mode. Introducesed the structure characteristics of BS mode, Researched the appropriate system design method, how to choose the development tools and how to set up the development environment. Introduced the very useful practice method:project management and system interface usability interaction design.Based on this research, realized the effective forest informatization management within specific forestry enterprises and institutions. Made useful exploration and practice for the construction of forestry informatization.
