A Study On Sustainable Management Of Short-Rotation Industrical Raw Material Forests Of Coastal Zone Of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region

China is a country that lack of forest resource, and the contradiction between supply anddemand of harvested wood products is quite outstanding. In China, it's difficult for thefunction of forest ecosystem to meet the demand of land eco-safety. In order to solve theproblem, people should follow the classified management principle, and use some forestlandto yield plentiful wood products, managing it by intensive practice. It's an inevitable selectionof forest development to make forest resource insured the ecosystem function, offeringwood products to meet the economic need of society sustainable development whilst. Byplanting short-rotation industrial raw material forests, people can use some forestland to yieldplentiful special industrial raw material in a short time. Under the tension of eco-protecting,it's the best selection to solve the contradiction. Recently, because of the positive forestindustry policy and the market demand, the short-rotation industrial raw material forests havedeveloped fast in coastal zone of Guangxi Province.Based on the actuality of the short-rotation industrial raw material forests in coastal zoneof Guangxi region. The forest sustainable managements of the region are studied in this paper,they are as the follow, the forest policy system, management and government system, foresttechnology system, the system of short-rotation industrial raw material forests managemeasure, and innovation for forest technology system.The study indicates that sustainable management of the forests connotes that areasonable plan should be made based on the strategy of industry developing and suiltable tothe local environment situation should be satisfied. The quantity and quality of main productwill be improved by enhancing orientation cultivation. Intensive practice will come true through innovating forest technology, and establishing forestry sci-tech extension system andmaking it perfect, and improving short-rotation industrial raw material forest technology. Bystrengthening ecological consciousness, it can make environment and economy developedharmoniously. All the management should be follow the rule of market economy:(1) Reformsforest construction and maks it develop toward to scale pattern and intensive pattern. (2)Founds criterion of assets assessment of forest resource, and perfects the assessed method,and builds up independent and specialized organization.(3) Cultivats the forest resource totrade market, and leads the trade go reasonably, orderly and efficiently. (4) Changes forestgovernment's function by economic method, legal method and necessary administrativemethod. The government should operate the management indirectly and macroscopically andexert the function of planning, conducting, corresponding, supervising and service.
