The status of plant landscape become more and more important with the progress of The Times, development of economy, people with the improvement of environmental awareness, advancement and practice of relative theory about plant landscape and ecological gardens etc, the reinforce of people's interesting in appreciation of the beauty and the curiosity in looking forward to nature. Scenic beauty estimation and preference estimation are a part of landscape evaluation. Landscape evaluation of garden plant community is one of the basis work for landscape planning and designing in cities green space, and it is the main reference for management part to make the planning measure, explicit the strength of protection, application and renovation. Landscape evaluation of Ornamental plant community also give important play to program evaluation, landscape prediction before constructed and the management behind constructed of city green space, and to reform, consummate, improve to now available green space.Through the investigation to park green space in Changsha, selected 20 groups of typical garden plant community as object to evaluate, summarized the element that influence the scenic beauty estimation and preference estimation, constructed the index system of landscape evaluation for typical ornamental plant community of park green space in ChangSha, and conducted evaluation where the object located with the pictures, inquire into the evaluation of garden plant community based on different background people. Used the method of SBE and Consciousness preference to do the research on scenic beauty estimation and preference estimation. By the beauty estimation of students of garden specialty, non-garden specialty and urban resident, constructed the model of scenic beauty estimation of typical garden plant community of park green space in ChangSha, get the main elements what influence the scenic beauty estimation are that plant form, color and season, vision controlling, plant local, unity; In addition, conducted the evaluation for preference to typical garden plant community of park green space in ChangSha from five aspects of differences, such as: specialized subject, age, sex, educational level and living time to analysis of variance, get the main factor of landscape preference are age and educational level. According to the research, we find the conclusion is as follows: (1) Through to the correlation analysis about 11 landscape elements and beauty degree, we can get the mathematics model of beauty degrees:Y=-202.503+8.436Xi+4.869X2-3.952X3+4.699X4+3.424X5 (R2=0.476). From the model we know that the main elements that influence the beauty degree evaluation for ornamental plants community are plant form(X1),color and season(X2), vision controlling(X3), plant local(X4),unity(X5).(2) From the result of scenic beauty estimation about 20 groups garden plant community by correlation analysis between three groups that students of garden specialty and non-garden specialty and urban resident, we can find that all the evaluator consider a large part of the 20 groups plant community is beautiful. Garden professional students group think the most beautiful plant connunity is composed by Cinnamomum camphora+ Liquidambar formosana; the students that not garden subject and the urban residents think the most beautiful plant connunity is composed by Osmanthus fragrans+ Magnolia grandiflora+ Cinnamomum camphora+ Citrus grandis+ Lagerstroemia indica+ Trachelospermum+Ilex crenata cv. Convexa Makino+Rhododendron simsii Planch+Photinia serrulata+Nandina domestica Thunb.(3)The top 3 groups of beauty degrees from high to low permutation order by Com-prehensive three groups of 20 groups evaluators typical garden plant communities beauty of evaluation as follow:the first is Osmanthus fragrans+ Magnolia grandiflor-a+ Cinnamomum camphora+ Citrus grandis+ Lagerstroemia indica+ Trachelosperm-um+Ilex crenata cv. Convexa Makino+Rhododendron simsii Planch+Photinia serrul-ata+Nandina domestica Thunb; the second is Cinnamomum camphora+ Liquidamb-ar formosana and the third Cinnamomum camphora+ Liquidambar formosana+ Lag-erstroemia indica+ Ophiopogon japonicus+ Chaenomeles speciosa Nakai+ Ophipgo-njaponicus.(4) Five difference background groups do Preference estimation to 20 groups of typical garden conmunities,and the top 3 groups plant communities are Cinnamomum camphora+Liquidambar formosana; Osmanthus fragrans+ Magnolia grandiflora+ Cinnamomum camphora+ Citrus grandis+ Lagerstroemia indica+ Trachelospermum +Ilex crenata cv. Convexa Makino+Rhododendron simsii Planch+Photinia serrula ta +Nandina domestica Thunb and Cinnamomum camphora+ Liquidambar formosana+ Lagerstroemia indica+ Ophiopogon Japonicus+Chaenomeles speciosa Nakai+ Ophio-pgonjapomcus.
