Landscape Evaluation And Tree Species Selection In Siming Mountain National Forest Park

On the basis of forest resources investigation in Ningbo Siming Mountain National Forest Park, in this thesis the evaluation of the landscape, ecological, social features with tourists groups and consumer demand were studied by AHP for eight major scenic resources, and the evaluation of the main landscape trees were made in order to play a guiding role on the selection of tree species for stand Improvement, but also to provide a scientific basis for further management of forest resources in the Siming Mountain Forest Park. The results showed:(1) In Siming Mountain Forest Park, there were the large area of evergreen coniferous forest, deciduous broadleaf forest, and some shrub savanna, shrub landscape, and composed of coniferous woodland, shrub and no forest stand; Coniferous forest was mainly composed of larch, Japanese cypress and cedar, broad-leaved forest was composed of Schima superba, Liquidambar and so on. There were another economic species such as bayberry, bamboo in blocks or striped foothills. The comprehensive evaluation is relatively high for Shang Liangguang, Bo Guyan and Yang Tianhu, but relatively low for Lingxi and Huang Haitian.(2) According to 1765 cases of Siming Mountain Forest Park with the results of statistical analysis of the sample was, professionals, workers and civil servants are the most important Siming Mountain tourist market, visitors are from neighboring cities and counties near the majority, nearly half of the visitors'main purpose to Simingshan is sightseeing, followed by the summer, work and health. In the tourist experience areas, the deepest feelings was on forest landscape in Simingshan, followed by climate. Therefore, the tourists considered the topography and the landscape plants as the most important factors. In tourism spending, showing a trend of diversification, higher levels of tourist spending, but most are not satisfied with public transport services.(3) The results from the field survey and the 100 common tree species in the landscape value of the evaluation showed that, in Siming Mountain National Forest Park, the main tree species are white oak resources, Magnolia, leopard camphor and so on. From the species composition of view, Fagaceae, Lauraceae, Rosaceae, Leguminosae, Theaceae, Aceraceae, Aquifoliaceae account for the majority. The landscape score was higher for Acer palmatum, Iron holly,and Gougu holly; shrub species such as cubeba, safflower tea, Loropetalum chinense, Malus halliana also had high landscape value. From the perspective of the landscape, these species as the arbor, shrub may be selected in Landscaping Forest. But the Pepper Tree, Brachypodium serrata, cedar, and Aralia japonica, Spiraea western Hubei, mountain pepper, and L. aggregate was not adapted to large-scale application, because of less evaluation of the lower landscape effective.
