In order to make clear the appropriate of irrgation and nitrogen application in north Henan Province, the field experiments were carried out in Xun country in 2009-2010. Zhoumai 18 which was the main wheat variety in Henan province was chosen as the experimental material. The field experiments were desighned by split block. Water was the main factor in this facter, there were two levels, irrigation at jointing stage onlywhich was marked W1 and irrigation at jointing stage and blossom stage which was was marked W2 . Nitrogen measures were vice factors and there were 6 levels: The way was basal and top dressing N0, N120, N180, N210, N270, N330. The wheat plant were got during the whole growth stage we studied the effect of dry matter accumulation, translocation and yield under different nitrogen. we try to provide the theoretical basis for the establishment of high yield of wheat cultivation technique by analyzeing the use efficiency of water and nitrogen influenced by different water treatments and nitrogen treatments .The main results are as follows:1. Dry matter of of vegetative organs and contribution ratio was higher under W2 than W1, under the treatment of N180+90, dry matter of of vegetative organs were more than other treatments, at the same time , contribution ratio was more than others'. Treatment of N210 had higherdry matter of vegetative organs and translocation ratio.2. Nitrogen accumulation of vegetative organs in maturity under W1 treatmen was lower than W2 .However, nitrogen translocation and contribution ratio to grains of vegetative organs was higher than the treatment of W1, means, nitrogen of vegetative organs translocat to grain easily under W2 than W1. The treatment of N180+90 and N120+210 had higher nitrogen accumulation in leaf and stalk+sheath.3. The yield under treatment of W2 was higher than W1, the change range of yield was 7765-9655.26kg/ha, the treatment of N120+210 had the highest yield, the main reason was ear numbers and grain number per spike was higher than other treatments. When the nitrogen application was 270-330kg/ha, the yield was the highest one.4. Water use efficiency under the treatment of W2 was higher than the treatment of W1 significantly. Soil water consumption and evapotranspiration was the highest one under the treatment of N120+90 and N180+90, however their water use efficiency was lower than treatment of N120+150. when the nitrogen application was 180kg/ha, which had the highest nitrogen use efficiency and nitrogen harvest index.
