With the step out of agriculture structure adjustment, vegetable industry has become the secondly industry in the crop production, which is only inferior to grain in China. It is the important source in agricultural synergy and increasing sources of income for farmers. As Shanghai is one of the biggest vegetable consume market in our country, where giant demands of the market promote the vegetables industry development. The proportion of vegetables which occupied in the whole city total output value of the agricultural is enhanced unceasingly. Similarly in Jinshan, one of the agricultural districts, the scale of vegetables planting expands rapidly, and has accounted for 1/3 of the entire district crop production output value in recent years. But because of the plenty of vegetables varieties, the complex of crops rotation, the high multiple crop indexes, and the expanding area, which lead to the increasing of harmful insects varieties in vegetables, the repeatedly eruption of the routine harmful insects and the prick up of the paroxysmal harmful insects year by year. And the dependence of vegetable farmer on chemicals is strengthened. The insect's antibiotic resistance enhance greatly, bring on the more and more difficulty prevention. The vegetables safety in production has been threatened greatly. The farmland environment is polluted, and ecosystem is broken up.In recent years, as the people's living standard improvement unceasingly and our country's accession to the WTO, the requirement of people to the agricultural product quality safety are also enhancing ceaselessly, ecological protection consciousness is also strengthened unceasingly. The idea of integrated pest management systems penetrates gradually. For differencing the plant protection policy of "taking prevention as the main task, integrated pest management systems", and reducing chemicals application in vegetables, from the early 1990s, frequoscillation pest-killing lamp, one of the physical control instruments trapping insects, was produced by "JiaDuo"corporation in Henan, and was test and demonstrated on different area and crops. The application scale expands unceasingly. Up to 2007, most of provinces have placed it on the technology demonstrated in the Pollution Free Agriculture Products production in different crops at provincial level. Nearly 570,000 lamps have been applicated in the grain, the cotton, the vegetables, the fruit tree, the fuel oils and so forth in 32 provinces (city, district), and in other 8 national and local demonstration. More than 2000 frequency trembler grid lamps were introduced in Shanghai from 2002-2006, and 586 lamps of which were introduced in Jinshan.All these lamps were installed in various vegetables garden farms, the standardized vegetables bases as well as the export vegetables bases.From insect's physical control method, the frequoscillation pest-killing lamp making use of insect's characteristic, such as to hasten the light, the wave, the color and so on, mounting band and frequency of its light wave in the particular range, using light in short distance, and using wave in long-distance together with color and taste, tempt prosopon insects throwing on the lamps. The lamps are matched by frequoscillation high-voltage net to kill insects and make the killed insects to drop into catching bag. Through eliminating the prosopon, this killing Lamp can reduce the eggs, thus pulls down the insect and larvae.Through system test and observation from 2005 to 2006 years at many vegetables bases and farms in the Jinshan area, and based on small area simple experiment in 2002-2004 year, the trapped insect's varieties and quantity, and the effects of different crops, environments, kinds, management and maintenance requirement and so forth on its performance are studied in this paper. Meanwhile natural enemy's protection, reducing eggs and larvae, the field insect mouth density, the vegetables quality and yield, costs and benefits are also investigated and analyzed.Through the studies on the application technology of frequoscillation pest-killing lamp in controlling vegetable insects, the results can concluded as follows:There are many and the amount of insects species trapped by the frequoscillation pest-killing lamp, involved 5 orders,18 sections and 39 varieties vegetable injurious insects. The frequency-vibrancy moth-killing lamp performance is much better than that of black light lamp and Optical Controlled Pest Killing Lamp. It is one of the more ideal insect disinfestations physics tool. The performance of this lamp is different due to different vegetables and growth styles. The amount of trapped insects is more in outdoor than in Cano pied. Using different suspending height,the same vegetable variety under the same cultivation pattern, the performance is different. The ideal suspending height is 0.65-lm above the ground for outdoor low vegetables and 0.8-1.3m for Cano pied high pole vegetables. The amount of trapped insects is the most from June to September in the year. The peak period of trapping pests was from 19:00 to 22:00.With large acreage outdoor vegetables, a little peripheral light source, and lower light intension, the effection of the lamp is better. Equated with pest control net and sex pheromone, the performance is much better. Washing the high-voltage net and catching bag in time may improve the performance greatly. The useful life of this lamp is 3 years currently; the strip lamp's is 1 year. The strip lamp didn't use exceed this time, and must be replaced. Otherwise, it will have effect on the performance of the lamp.Using the frequoscillation pest-killing lamp can reap significant economic, social and ecological benefits. Using this lamp can reduce 2 times of chemical which is more than 20% of the total, and increase economic benefit by 19.9 Yuan'mu. This lamp has little impact on natural enemies. It can protect the natural enemies and maintain ecological balances.The ecological benefits is significant. Using frequoscillation pest-killing lamp in vegetable bases mitigate environmental pollution, reduce the Chemical remains in vegetables, protect Consumer's Good health, strengthen the competitiveness of products on markets, and increase sources of income for farmer. Meanwhile using this lamps fall behind with the insect's antibiotic resistance. It's conscientiously carries out the principle of "taking prevention as the main task, integrated pest management systems", and is one kind of economical, efficient, simple and convenient, easy manipulated physical control technique.
