Conservation And Utilization Of Ancient And Famous Trees In Guangzhou

Ancient and famous trees is the important composing part of the city culture heritage, is the witness of historical development, the historical artifact and the living national treasure. Guangzhou has a long history and profound cultural background. Guangzhou has a variety of ancient and famous trees, and widespread in many places. Ancient and famous trees is not only witnessed the history of Guangzhou but also is the transmitter of cultural heritage.In recent years in the rapid development of old city regeneration, the ancient and famous trees is suffering from an unprecedented threat, which has the value of historical, economic, landscape etc. How to reasonable and effective protection and exploitation of ancient and famous trees is a very urgent immediate practical significance.In this thesis,through deeply analyzing the protection cases that happened in Guangzhou, summarize the protection using situation in ancient and famous trees, find problems and put forward protection strategies, specific researches as follows:Theoretical research: This paper described the purposes, meanings, contents and methods of the research, and analysis of the development process in protection and exploitation of ancient and famous trees at home and abroad. Survey analysis: It will introduce the ancient and famous trees of Guangzhou in protection and exploitation history, current status and development process, analysis the current status and problems in protection and exploitation in urban Guangzhou.Utilization analysis: Suggestions for protection and exploitation of these trees are put forward in this peper according to the analysis on the current cases of the trees. With investigation of these cases we can summarize a number of different ways for ancient and famous trees, then compare and analyze the advantage and disadvantage of different ways, and offer the way to choose reasonable exploitation methods for ancient and famous trees.Protection policy: Looking for reasonable directions for ancient and famous trees from the legal laws and regulations aspect and also from the design aspect.
