China is a traditional agricultural country and food security is very critical for the country developping. In the modern society, how to coordinate the needs of rapid economic growth and the depletion of the environmental resource has become an unavoidable issue. After the second national soil survey, soil testing and fertilizer technology has been developped a lot, maybe it can be one way to solve the problem.Nenjiang County located in the northwest of Hei Longjiang province which soybean plant eare is adout 250~350 mu per year, accounting for more than 50% in the province. But the soybean production ability is only in the middle or even low level. In recent years, excessive fertilization is wild spread in soybean plant.In pursuit of the production; many farmers increase the fertilization blindly. Comparing with the economic benefits of increased production, the waste of fertilizer resources and the increased costs of the production have brought more and more negative impact on the agricultural environment.The research results can be divided into three parts:1. The establishment of soil nutrient digital management systems in Nenjiang CountyIn 2008 to 2010, we collected 9859 soil samples through GPS positioning in 18 towns of Nenjiang and tested the available nutrient (N, P, and K) contents. Based on these results we established the database. Through Visual Basic (VB) programming language editing of the " Nenjiang County digital soil nutrients management system." This system can find introduction of the township, soil nutrient distribution, classification and distribution of soil nutrients and the recommended fertilizer of different regions.2. "3414" test for fertilizer using efficiencyAccording to the test results and frequency analysis method we calculated the four townships of the best fertilizer recommendation, that the park:N 30.0 kg/hm2, P2O5 44.8 kg/hm2, K2O 21.9 kg/hm2; Haijiang Town:N 23.0 kg/hm2, P2O5 51.2 kg/hm2, K2O 22.5 kg/hm2; Changfu Town:N 27.1 kg/hm2, P2O5 45.5 kg/hm2, K2O 24.7 kg/hm2; Yilaha Town:N 28.2 kg/hm2, P2O5 40.5 kg/hm2, K2O 28.6 kg/hm2.3. Dissemination and applicationIn 2009 we set up the demonstration plots in Xingfu village, soybean production increased 13%, annual revenue grew to 816 yuan/hm2. In 2010 we had 12 demonstration plots with local farms in Xingfu village, average income increased 717.6 yuan/hm2. In 2011 we had 138 demonstration plots with local farms in four towns of Nenjiang County. Compared with the 2007, the yield had increased 16.9% per hectare; the income had increased 1044.3 yuan/hm2.
