It can improve the city's ecological environment, enhance the city image, improve the quality of city life, it plays a positive role for constructing low carbon city, Ningxiang is Changsha forerunner area of Hexi development, the city landscape construction needs to pay more attentions in order to achieve the ecological garden city and low carbon city. Therefore, this paper studies Ningxiang roadside green space landscape in detail, analyzes its existing problems of plant landscape, and according to the actual situation of Ningxiang put forward to solve measure.This paper uses the theory and practice of combining research methods analysis, on the basis of theoretical research on Ningxiang street green space classification. On15roadside greenbelt plants species and composition, plant life form, growth of plant, plant seasonal, ornamental plants and plant use frequency analysis done, For each type of roadside green space plant configuration were investigated and compared, in addition to an analysis of various kinds of street greening plant disposition beside situation. Through field survey, we can draw the following results:(1)Ningxiang roadside greenbelt beside street was classified street greenbelt beside street, corner greenbelt beside street, street building vestibular green, cross street greenbelt beside street.(2) Plant species belongs to32families,47genera,50species. Trees occupy investigation of plant species number40%;small trees occupy investigation appeared plant species number14%; shrubs occupy investigation of plant species number36%; bamboo plants account for the class number2%; lawn occupy for investigate the emergence of plant species number6%; flowers in the investigation of plant species number2%.(3) Ningxiang greenbelt beside street in angiosperms monocotyledonous plants of3families3genera and3species,25families and37genera in dicotyledonous plants41, dicotyledonous plants in family, genus, species and proportion are dominant.(4) Investigated by the roadside green space in the application of woody plants, herbs, bamboo plants accounted for the investigation of all plant species in92%,6%,2%.(5) Constitute the roadside green space landscape of plant community, based mainly in trees. Trees evergreen trees in proportion (60%)> deciduous trees in proportion (40%), shrubs evergreen shrub proportion (84.2%)> deciduous shrubs in proportion (15.8%), a small tree in the small deciduous trees in proportion (57.1%)> evergreen small tree (proportion42.9%).(6) In Greenbelt beside street, sweet-scented osmanthus in15plots appeared13times, higher frequency of90%, rubrum in plot12, frequency reached80%, small trees of Photinia fraseri application frequency reached60%.
