The Quality Characteristic And Relationship Of The Quality Control Indexes Of The Flue-Cured Tobacco Leaf In Xuanwei

The article research on the quality characteristic of tobacco derived from the main producing areas of Xuanwei. and also research on the relationship between tobacco quality indicators, in purpose to provide a reference for the industrial application of Xuanwei regional tobacco. Through two consecutive years of sample's data collection and by the application of canonical correlation analysis and geostatistical analysis of data processing, we generally explained the leaf Appearance Quality, Physical Properties, Chemical Composition, and Sensory Quality of the overall level and distribution trends of tobacco in Xuanwei area. The relationships between various indicators of the region's tobacco are slao analynised. The main conclusions are as follows:1. Structure and maturity of Appearance Quality indicators of Xuanwei tobacco are in high level with average score of9.89and9.75respectively. The Physical Properties of Xuanwei Tobacco in line with the high quality tobacco standards. Chemical Composition of Xuanwei tobacco is at or near the appropriate range of high quality flue-cured tobacco. Aroma quality of Sensory Quality indicators is very good with average score to7.05. Different towns or varieties have some significant or very significant differences in the quality indicators,2. Xuanwei tobacco AppearanceQuality index has no significant differences in trends in the geographical, only part of the region was gathered arranged. Physical Properties indicators are east of the higher, west scattered the lower regions of the overall trend. There is a reduced distribution tends in Chemical Composition indicators of nicotine, potassium, chloride fron East to West. The overall distribution trends of Sensory Quality indicators are northen higher to southen.3. though Comprehensive analysis of the quality of tobacco from the different township of Xuanwei. The average score of Appearance Quality is87.79. The comprehensive quality of Appearance arrived to good and excellent levels, average score of Physical Properties (76.71), Chemical Characteristics (80.56), Sensory Quality (75.08) arrived to good or close to good level, and some areas arrived to excellence. The average score of comprehensive analysis is80.07. Areas scored to good (80-90) level up to71.90%of the whole reseach area, which declared the good quality of tobacoo in Xuanwei.4. There is correlation between the various quality indicators of tobacco. Sensory Quality and Appearance Quality, Physical Properties, Chemical Composition have a canonical correlation(P<0.01). The Chemical Composition have a significant canonical correlation with Physical Properties and Appearance Quality indicators (P<0.01). The Physical Properties indicators have significant correlation with Appearance Quality.
