To explore the relationship among the technology of optimizing structure of tobacco leaf, the quality of tobacco leaf and economical properties as well as to find the optimal structure of tobacco leaf, the author conducts researches on the quality of105,yunnan tobacco and the influence of the number and the time of optimizing structure of tobacco leaf on economic benefits. The findings are listed as follows.Firstly,the test of optimizing the number and the time of lower part of tobacco leaf shows that optimizing the lower part of tobacco leaf will exert different negative influences on the appearance quality of the upper tobacco. The aggregate scores of appearance quality on the right day of topping are significantly lower than those of tobacco leaves topped lower part of4pieces leaves after5days of topping,which is manifested in the following aspects. The scores of maturity and identity of tobacco leaf decrease remarkably and different time to remove2lower pieces of tobacco leaves will seldom impact the upper tobacco leaves.Topping the same day, the number of picking bottom leaves is inversely proportional to the maturity and identity of tobacco leaves. The total nitrogen content of upper leaves moves inversely to the number of picking leaves. When topping4lower part of leaves and picking2leaves, there is a sharp contrast, which results in the decline of sensory quality of upper leaves. When picking4leaves, the aggregate scores of indicators such as sweet temperament, mixed smell, and remaining taste notably drop. As picking delays, the impacts weaken. Topping5days later, the aggregate scores of the appearance quality of lower leaves will enhance as the number of picking lower leaves increase. In other words, the leaves will be mature early. Picking4pieces of lower leaves will help to raise aggregate scores. When topping the same day and topping after5days, the sugar content of lower leaves will increase, as the number of picking leaves is up. With the increase of leaf number, the scores of sensory quality of lower leaves will rise. The lowering proportion of inferior tobacco has seldom impact on the proportion, the value of output and yields. The research on economic properties of4pieces of bottom tobacco leaves presents that3or4leaves could be picked during the producing, for the economic properties of each part of tobacco leaf are relatively low. (2) There is a declining tendency of appearance quality of upper leaves in maturity and identity as the remaining leaves reduce. The scores of appearance quality in maturity and identity is down remarkably, when topping the same day or topping upper part of2pieces of tobacco leaves after30days. This influence on appearance quality and on other indicators will bate as time went by. As for chemical constituents, the more topping is made, the more nicotinamide the upper leaves contain. Comparing with normal topping leaves, the processed leaves such as topping2more leaves and topping2more leaves after the dome will reach high level.Topping more upper leaves will increase the content of sugar and starch in tobacco leaves. While picking2more leaves, the content of C3of starch will be up and has no obvious influence on lower part of tobacco leaves.Topping more upper leaves at the moment and topping more leaves after30days,will exert negative impacts on the quality of upper leaves, namely, the quality of the aroma, sweet temperament, mixed smell, concentration, and smell. The number of topping and the time of topping will affect the features of smell and mixed smell of middle part of tobacco leaves. Different from the normal leaves, the average price of picking2more leaves on the right day of topping and processing2leaves through abandoning and roasting will rise, while the value of output and yields will fall, which has no apparent effects on sensory quality of middle part of tobacco leaves. The statistics of economic properties of4top leaves embody that the economic properties of1and3top leaves are low, therefore, the processing methods of abandoning and roasting could be employed to optimize structure.(3) Results indicate that:optimize the structure of low leaf is to abandon3-4leaf;optimize the structure of upper leaves to abandon baked roast2-3leaf.
