Based on the tobacco area in southern Qujing and 497 samples of flue-cured tobacco in three counties under the jurisdiction of Luliang,Luoping and Shizong,the quantitative characteristics and distribution characteristics of the organic potassium index of tobacco leaves in the main tobacco areas in southern Qujing were studied by cluster analysis,descriptive statistics,variance analysis,correlation analysis and regression analysis,as well as the content and physics of the organic potassium index and three elements of potassium and sulphur in tobacco leaves.The relationship between characteristics,appearance quality and internal quality.The main results are as follows:1.The distribution of organic potassium index of flue-cured tobacco in different tobacco growing areas in southern Qujing was analyzed.The results showed that:(1)using cluster analysis,the organic potassium index of flue-cured tobacco in southern Qujing can be divided into low,middle and high three species groups,and the proportion of various groups in the sample number is 22.2%,59.7%,18.1% respectively.(2)through descriptive statistics,it is found that the low group amplitude is mainly distributed among-0.84~0.88%,and the amplitude of the middle group is mainly distributed among the 0.90~1.96%,and the high group variation is mainly distributed among the 1.98~3.30%,but the coefficient of variation of the low group is 122%,indicating that the variation of the organic potassium index in the region is mainly concentrated in the low group,and the coefficient of variation of the middle group and the high group is relative.Lower,only 20% and 13%,respectively.(3)the skewness coefficient of the low group is less than 0,showing a negative skewed distribution.The skewness coefficient of the middle group and the high group is greater than 0,showing a positive skew distribution.Low group and high class peaks degree coefficient is greater than 0,the data distribution for the sharp peak.In the class of peaks degree coefficient is less than 0,the data showed platykurtosis distribution.(4)the organic potassium index in Luliang county is mainly distributed in the low and middle two groups,the proportion of which is 45% and 52.86% respectively.The organic potassium index in Luoping county is mainly distributed in two groups,which are 53.11% and 39.23% respectively.The distribution of organic potassium index in Shizong county is the highest in the middle group and the proportion of the Luoping county is 75.51%.2.We analyzed the relationship between organic potassium index and potassium,chlorine and sulfur content of flue-cured tobacco.The results showed that:(1)the content of potassium in the low,middle and high groups were all positive partial distribution,and the data were mainly concentrated in low groups and high groups,which were more dispersed in the middle groups.There was a significant linear regression relationship between organic potassium index and potassium content in all groups.With the increase of organic potassium index,potassium content showed a significant upward trend.(2)chlorine content is positively skewed in low,medium and high groups.The data distribution is concentrated in all kinds of groups,showing a sharp peak.The organic potassium index and chlorine content in the lower and middle groups can be fitted by a linear regression equation,while the high group can be fitted with the two regression equation.Both of them have a very significant negative correlation in all groups.(3)sulfur content is positively skewed in low,middle and high groups.The data distribution is also concentrated in all kinds of clusters,showing a sharp peak.Organic potassium index is positively correlated with sulfur content in low and high number groups,but not significant.There is a significant negative correlation between the two groups,which can be fitted by a linear regression equation.3.We analyzed the relationship between organic potassium index and physical characteristics of flue-cured tobacco.The results showed that organic potassium index was positively correlated with leaf length index in various groups.In addition,the organic potassium index and the middle leaf length and leaf density of the lower groups,the single leaf weight,the leaf length,the Ye Kuan,the stem ratio and the equilibrium water content in the middle groups,the middle leaf length and the stem ratio of the high groups were all significant or extremely significant linear regression relations,and the leaf surface density in the middle groups was significantly two times the regression relationship.When the organic potassium index reached 1.6%,the leaf density index of the middle group reached the highest.4.We analyzed the relationship between the organic potassium index and the appearance quality of flue-cured tobacco in each group.The results showed that the organic potassium index of various groups was positively correlated with maturity,but only the middle group reached a significant level,which could be fitted with the regression relationship of two curves.When the organic potassium index was about 1.5%,the maturity reached the maximum.In addition,the identity,color and oil content in the middle group were negatively correlated with organic potassium index.5.We analyzed the relationship between organic potassium index and smoking quality of fluecured tobacco.The results are as follows:(1)the organic potassium index is positively correlated with the combustion of various groups,among which the low group reaches a significant level,and the two can be fitted with a linear regression equation.The middle group and the high group are extremely significant.The two can be fitted with the two curve regression equation.When the organic potassium index reaches about 1.2%,the combustibility of the group reaches the highest point and the organic potassium index reaches 2.8% left.On the right side,the high class group had the best combustibility,followed by a slight decline.In addition to combustibility,the aroma quality,aroma,grey and total score of various groups were also significantly correlated with the organic potassium index,which met a linear regression relationship.(2)there is no significant correlation between the organic potassium index and the concentration,strength and flavor of various groups,negative correlation with the strength of the middle group and the flavor type,and the negative correlation of the high group fragrance type,and the other indexes are all positive correlation.(3)as for the characteristics of smoking smoke,the organic potassium index is very significant positive correlation with the groups of groups,sweetness and high groups of
