Literature Study On Rule Of Property And Function Of Traditional Chinese Medicines Of Liver Channel Of Chinese Materia Medica

Objective:To discover a feasible method of traditional literature study on the theory of channel tropism, to find the rule of the property and function of Chinese medicines of the liver channel, to perfect the theory of channel tropism and liver viscera state, to supply a direction for the clinical prescription, we researched the herbal rules of property and function of the liver channel's medicines of Chinese Materia Medica,.Methods:Based on the guide of liver channel, we arranged 710 liver channel herbs from 8980 herbs in Chinese Materia Medica, established a Chinese medicine databases, analysed the rule of the source, property, flavor, toxicity and function, discussed the relation with each other in the method of traditional literature and statistical analysis.Results: The liver channel's herbs mainly come from Rosaceae, Ranunculaceae, Euphorbiaceae, Leguminosae, Rutaceae, Caryophyllaceae. Four properties prefer on the property of cold. The tastes are mainly bitter, sweet and pungent. Nearly a quarter of drugs are toxic. Main of functions are detoxication, repelling wind and dehumidification, activating joint, relieving pain, stanching blood, activating blood circulation and improving eyesight.Conclusion:There is a great relation between the rule of source, property, flavor, toxicity and function of the liver channel herbs and the physiological function and pathological specialty of the liver. Based on the method which is be called"One Rule, Three Lays", traditional literature is used to study the theory of herbal channel tropism is feasible.
