Objective To observe the clinical curative effect of treating the type of syndrome of intestine dryness due to yin deficiency of Irritable Bowel Syndrome with Supplemented Fluid-Increasing Decoction from randomized controlled trial, evaluate the relevance to improve the quality of life with this method, and explore the mechanism from theoretical and clinical aspects.Methods 50 cases with the type of syndrome of intestine dryness due to yin deficiency of IBS-C are divided into two groups at random. Supplemented Fluid-Increasing Decoction was given to treatment group. The control group was given mosapride Pill, to observe the related symptoms and quality of life in order to assess the clinical curative effect of this method.Results In improving the clinical symptoms:two groups were greatly improved. There was no significant difference between two groups on age course of disease score of symptom and sign before treatment(P>0.05). there was significant difference as compared with that score of symptom and sign after treatment.(P<0.05)Conclusion Two groups are significantly improve patient's clinical symptoms,syndromes in Chinese Medicine and the quality of life; compared the clinical curative effect, the treatment group is slightly better than the control group.
