Tries To Analyze Two Controversy Between Traditional Chinese Medicine And Western Medicine In The Period Of The Republic Of China

The Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western medicine which is rooted in the two different culture soil produces independently, so the collision between Western medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine is inevitable. Medicine is the form of knowledge which is between art and science, and it is across two areas of theoretical and practical. This feature decides the controversy between Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western medicine is easily beyond the medical profession, and can extend to cultural, social and even political fields. Under the great change of modern society, the controversy between Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western medicine can reflect the interactive relationship between knowledge, culture and society. This paper attempts to explore the deep cultural, political, ideological and other content behind the controversy on the basis of the two high-impact controversy between Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western medicine.The first part of the paper explains the core issue of the controversy between Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western medicine.
