Chapter 1 In this chapter, the development of the supramolecular system was expatiated, especially calix[n]arene including its molecule structure and chemical feature. Some details about Traditional Chinese medicine Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi were also expressed. The active components including Baicalin(BG), Baicalein(Ba) and Wogonin(Wo) from Scutellaria were briefly introduced.Chapter 2 The formation of the complexes of Baicalin(BG) with p-sulfocalix[n]arene was studied by fluorescence spectra. The formation constants (K) of complexes was determined by fluorescence method Moreover, NMR technique is also applied to explore its structure. The results showed that at pH 8.04 there is the maximum association constant (K) 2.45×106L/mol.meanwhile,the stoichiometry was 1:1 from BG/SCX8 Kinetic studies of DPPH with BG and p-sulfocalix[n]arene complexes were done. The results obtained indicated that the BG/p-sulfocalix[n]arene complexes were more reactive form than the single Baicalin. The thermal decomposition stability of BG and BG/p-sulfocalix[n]arene as well as the inclusion compound at high Irradiation have as the same results as DPPH.In addition, data from several aspects are also supported each other.Chapter 3 The formation of the complexes of Baicalein(Ba) with p-sulfocalix[n]arene was studied by fluorescence spectra. The formation constants (K) of complexes were determined by fluorescence method. Besides, NMR technique is also used to explore its structure. The results showed that there is the maximum association constant (K) in Ba/p-sulfocalix[6]arene meanwhile, the stoichiometry was 1:1 from. Kinetic studies of DPPH with Ba and p-sulfocalix[n]arene complexes were done. The results obtained indicated that the Ba/p-sulfocalix[n]arene complexes were the more reactive forms than the alone Baicalein. The thermal decomposition stability of Ba and Ba/p-sulfocalix[n]arene as well as the inclusion compound at high Irradiation have the same results like DPPH. On the other hand, NMR data stand by the conclusion.Chapter 4 The formation of the complexes of Wogonin(Wo) with p-sulfocalix[n]arene was studied by fluorescence spectra. The formation constants (K) of complexes were determined by fluorescence method. Moreover, NMR technique is also applied to explore its structure. The results showed that at pH 3.05 there is the maximum association constant(K) 1.05×106L/mol. Meanwhile, the stoichiometry was 1:1 from Wo/SCX6. Kinetic studies of DPPH with Wo and p-sulfocalix[n]arene complexes were done. The results obtained indicated that the Wo/p-sulfocalix[n]arene complex was more reactive form than the single Wogonin. The thermal decomposition stability of Wo and Wo/p-sulfocalix[n]arene as well as the inclusion compound at high Irradiation have as the same results as DPPH. In addition, NMR data stand by the conclusion.Chapter 5 In this chapter, the contents from unit 2 to unit 4 have been summarized from head to foot. Several factors have been compared in details, such as the structures of the three kind active components of Traditional Chinese medicine Scutellaria including Baicalin, Baicalein and Wogonin, the inclusion abilities with three calix[n]arene, the antioxidant ability, The thermal decomposition stability as well as stability at high Irradiation of three Inclusion.
